Mission:  Our mission is to compassionately serve the Latino and vulnerable communities by distributing essential care packages, to empower by facilitating trainings on behavioral health resiliency using Trauma Informed Care methods, and to provide information on local bilingual community services.

Horizon Goodwill Industries is a social enterprise that runs business services, thrift stores, and Ecommere to fund our mission of removing barriers so that individuals in our community can thrive.

Humanim has a 50 year history of supporting and economically empowering individuals.
We do this through over 35 programs in the areas of human services, youth services, workforce development, and social enterprise throughout Maryland. Leadership Baltimore County (LBC) is a community leadership program with a mission to bring high achievers with diverse perspectives together to heighten their civic awareness, enhance their organizational effectiveness and become a driving force for positive change in their workplace and Baltimore County as a whole.

These informed leaders have the inspiration and collaborative tools to improve the Baltimore County community/region with innovative solutions. Every year, we graduate a diverse group of civic leaders to engage with the Baltimore County community. Areas of focus include public safety, education, healthcare, economic development and much more. Together, we tackle difficult issues and create positive change in our community.

Adelante Latina! is a Baltimore-based non-profit that prepares Baltimore City high school Latinas for college.

Employ Prince George's, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Prince George's County, Maryland. Employ Prince George's administers a menu of workforce development services for job seekers and businesses. The mission of Employ Prince George's is to improve the local economy by creating a demand-driven workforce system with workforce development programs that deliver qualified workers to businesses, improves the productivity of businesses, and provides job seekers with opportunities for careers in high demand/high growth industries.

Employ Prince George's serves as the Staff and Fiscal Agent of the Prince George's County Local Workforce Development Board. As the Staff and Fiscal Agent of the Local Workforce Development Board, Employ Prince George's is responsible for regulating policy development and the administration of workforce activities related to services and programs funded by the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). Under the leadership of Employ Prince George's, the Prince George's County Local Workforce Development Area serves over 30,000 job seekers and 4,000 businesses annually.

Employ Prince George's is Prince George's County's link between job seekers looking to begin or change careers, and businesses looking for skilled workers to maintain competitiveness in a changing labor market.

Story Tapestries is an arts services nonprofit founded in 2010 as a 501c3. Since then, we have engaged well over 1 million people in meaningful and transformative arts experiences. Our mission is to use the arts as a powerful tool to create accessible, open spaces and opportunities for individuals to reach their highest potential and to work together for a more inclusive community.

Story Tapestries accomplishes this by:

  • providing innovative, custom-designed performances, workshops and hands-on community and educational experiences; 
  • designing programs that develop skills, connect individuals, elevate diverse voices and celebrate youth, families, adults, and seniors; and
  • engaging and impacting individuals where they live, work and thrive

At the heart of Story Tapestries’ programs is the desire to empower people to identify and access their personal strengths and boost their areas of weakness. We envision a world in which every individual has access to tools and resources that use the arts as a vital form of communication for expression, skills development, enhancement of community connections and celebration of unique voices and stories. Above all, we imagine a world in which every person experiences JOY!
